2. Arrival and Check-in
Cambridge Food Bank Location: Please enter through the main front entrance and check in with the reception desk.
Cambridge Food Bank After-Hours Arrival: For experiences occurring outside of regular business hours (after 4:30 PM), a FoodForward team member will meet your group at the main entrance.
Community Garden Location: If your experience takes place in the community garden, please meet directly at the garden entrance located at Forward Church, 55 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge, ON N1R 5S2
3. Parking
Cambridge Food Bank Parking:
Free 12-hour parking is available at the Ainslie Street Parking Lot, located directly beside the Cambridge Food Bank.
If the Ainslie Street Parking Lot is full, 2-hour street parking is available on surrounding streets.
Paid parking is also available at the City of Cambridge Parking Galt City Centre lot.
Community Garden Parking:
We recommend parking in the church parking lot on the side closest to the hill. Once parked, head up the hill and towards the old ball diamond where you'll find the garden.
4. Attire and What to Bring
Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are required for safety.
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty.
Sun Protection: If your experience is outdoors, please wear sunscreen and a hat.
Hydration: Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions: Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions in advance so we can make necessary accommodations.
5. Group Information
Maximum Group Size: Each FoodForward Experience has a maximum group size in the description.
Age Restrictions: Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
6. Payment and Cancellation
Payment in Full: If you already paid in full, thank you! A receipt will be automatically sent.
Payment Due: If you left a credit card on file or booked without payment, we will send an invoice with the balance due. This can be paid through credit card, e-transfer, EFT, or cheque.
Cancellations: Cancellations fewer than 7 days before the experiences are non-refundable.
7. Group Photo/Video Release Agreement
Cambridge Food Bank & Food Forward
By participating in volunteer activities with the Cambridge Food Bank and/or its project, Food Forward, as part of a group, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Photographs and/or video footage may be taken during your group’s volunteer activities. These may include images or video of group members and may be used by the Cambridge Food Bank and Food Forward for promotional, educational, and awareness purposes.
These images may be:
Used in whole or in part
In color or black and white
Shared through print materials, digital platforms, and social media
Included in multimedia projects created by or for the Cambridge Food Bank and Food Forward
By continuing, you acknowledge and agree that:
You grant the Cambridge Food Bank and Food Forward permission to use these images or videos without compensation.
You waive the right to review or approve how the images or videos are used.
You release the Cambridge Food Bank, Food Forward, and anyone authorized by them from liability related to the use, editing, or alteration of these materials.
No images or videos will be sold or shared with outside businesses or organizations.
By agreeing to this release, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian for any minors in your group.
This release applies to all current and future group volunteer participation unless otherwise stated.
